Adding booth members has always been self-serve. Removing them hasn't, which meant every job change, duplicate invite, and "why does this person still have access?" landed in your inbox. Now it doesn't. Exhibitor admins can remove a colleague from the Booth in the Team Members tab, and any booth member can leave on their own. You stay in control of who's allowed to do it.

How it works

1. An exhibitor opens Exhibitor Center > Team Members.
2. On another member's row, an admin clicks Remove, confirms the dialog, and that person is off the booth roster.
3. On their own row, any member, admin or not, clicks Leave, confirms, and they're out.
4. Cancel the confirmation and nothing changes. No accidental exits.

Who can do what

• Admins remove others. The Remove action only appears on other members' rows, and only for exhibitor admins.
• Everyone can leave. The Leave action appears on your own row whether you're an admin or a regular member, no waiting on someone else to action it.
• Non-admins can't touch other rows. No Remove button, no backdoor.
• Removal is booth-scoped, not event-scoped. A removed member stays an attendee of your event. They just lose Exhibitor Center access for that booth.

Your switch, two levels

Organizers decide whether any of this is available, with a new Allow to remove booth members permission:

• At group level — enabled or disabled, in the exhibitor group's Members settings. Every new group is enabled by default, and all existing groups were migrated as enabled.
• At exhibitor level — not defined, enabled, or disabled. New exhibitors start as not defined and inherit the group value; set enabled or disabled to override one Booth without touching the rest of the group.
• Enforced front and back. Turn it off and the Remove and Leave actions disappear — and any request that reaches the backend anyway is rejected. Nothing slips through a stale tab.

Why organizers will love it

Booth access is exhibitor ROI's least glamorous dependency: the wrong roster means leads captured by people who left, badges going to no-shows, and support requests that only your team can resolve. Handing removal to exhibitor admins closes that loop where the knowledge actually lives — inside the exhibiting company — while the group and exhibitor-level permission means you can still lock it down for sponsors, VIP booths, or any account where you'd rather field the request yourself.

💡 Pro tip: If a booth's content depends on a single admin, set that exhibitor's permission to disabled to override an enabled group. The last admin can leave and strand the Booth with no admin — better to keep that one on your desk.
