Protech Integration: Your Members Recognized at Registration 🔗
For associations, the first question at registration is always the same: is this person a member? Until now, answering it meant asking registrants for a membership number they rarely remember, or checking lists by hand after the fact.
Not anymore. With the new Protech integration, Swapcard checks your Protech records while someone registers. Members are recognized, priced and welcomed correctly from the very first click.
What’s new
- Membership Lookup: as someone registers, Swapcard checks Protech to confirm whether they’re a member and what kind. Member rates, partner tiers and special offers then apply automatically.
- Profile Pre-fill: Swapcard can also bring in details you already hold in Protech, like their name, job title or company. Members skip the typing and land on a form that already knows them.
How it works
- A registrant starts signing up for your event.
- Swapcard checks with Protech to see who they are.
- The right experience follows: member pricing, the right ticket options, and a form with their details already filled in.
Your team decides how members are recognized and what information comes back. Your membership rules stay in Protech, exactly where they already live.
Key behaviors
- Your rules, your way: whether a member is identified by email, membership number or company, and whatever your tiers look like, the logic stays in your hands.
- Renew or join: show expiring members a renewal offer and everyone else a membership offer, automatically.
- Personal data stays protected: profile details are only shared once the registrant has confirmed their identity, either by being signed in or with a quick code sent to their email.
- Built on Microsoft Dynamics: because Protech runs on Microsoft Dynamics 365, the integration works within the Microsoft tools your team may already use.
Why organizers will love it
Members expect to be recognized. Now they are: the right price on the first try, a form that fills itself in, and no “contact us for the member rate” detour. Your team stops cross-checking registrations against Protech, your member data stays clean, and membership becomes a smooth part of registration instead of an obstacle to it.
💡 Pro tip: Use membership expiry dates to your advantage. A registration that doubles as a renewal reminder is one of the easiest ways to keep members on board.
